Love BlogPaws and all you do in the name of animals. This is one more weapon in the arsenal of "Be the Change for Pets: BlogPaws" where pet bloggers can make a difference! Thank you for this.

Deena O'Daniel

Outstanding! Have already signed up and will share with over 800 Facebook Friends, most of whom are pet lovers. Thank you for doing this.

I'm in, of course! What an amazing community all of you are, who've rallied around the "Be the Change for Pets" idea that Caroline, Dorian, Jane, and Lynn introduced us to back at our first conference in Columbus!

I still get chills every time I watch that video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDENJzl6uAQ

Signed up and shared on facebook and twitter. Is there a code for the be the change for pets button so we can put it on our blogs and link back to here.

Thanks Ian.

For the past several years we've been speaking about the urgent need for animal rescue and welfare professionals to migrate away from "donations based" fundraisers. The most popular fundraisers in use today are based on the obsolete models that are over 100 years old. They involve telling horrid stories of animals in distress, followed by showing pictures of video then hoping people will be moved to donate.

The massive scale of the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy will surely over-tax those involved in fundraising. Vinny the Pug and friends will be waging our 21st Fundraisers and sharing our results on these pages.

We are honored to be invited to be apart of this campaign to respond to the challenges which lies ahead.
